New fiirmware for R7800
The Windows desktop Genie tells me that there is new firmware for the R7800. Going from 1.0.2.82 to 1.0.2.84.
This firmware has not landed on the support pages for the R7800.

Ok so loaded my R7800 today to v84. Up from v60 which I had loaded as I was troubleshooting Bridge mode, found the problem there.
I did a full on factory reset and setup from scratch.
1. Still seeing the following happen when going thru the setup wizard and when you select NEXT, the information given is being either changed visually or is being changed from what was actually input by the user:
The Answers seen here are NOT what the user input. Is this expected behavior? DarrenM
2. I see after I let the wizard enabled auto updates, there was a GUI update seen as well:
3. Remote Mangement has been changed to:
Need to find out if this is all thats available and you have to manage the router from the NH app from now on or if there is something missing here. :smileyfrustrated: DarrenM
4. Speed test is fixed. Thank you NG. QoS not enabled.
R7800 Wireless Bridge mode speed results connected to a Orbi AX 853 system in AP Mode:
Im leaving mine in Bridge mode so I can test this out with a different router. Will be connecting my xbox to the R7800. :smileywink:
Over all, there seems to be hope with v84.
Anyone else? Please post your experiences.

I'm going to post this here to let those who use the R7800 in wireless bridge mode, the R7800 doesn't like it when host routers are broadcasting a mix of WPA2 and WPA3 together. R7800 will NOT connect to the host routers wifi. The host router needs to be set for WPA2 only then the R7800 will connect in wireless bridge mode to the host wifi signal. I have a R7960P that does work in wireless bridge mode with WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode on host routers. I presume the R7800 maybe old enough that the mixed modes are causing problems. Not sure if NG can fix this or not for the R7800 since it limited use in this configuration and getting out there. :smileyembarrassed:

Assuming you've been running 84 for awhile, how is the stability? Have you done any testing in AP mode by any chance?
