New Firmware for R8000P - Version Number and Community Feedback Requested
Did Netgear just drop a new firmware update for the R8000P???
I got an automated notification from my router, but I can't find any literature about it on the website. Given all of the issues folks have had with firmware updates in the past, I will wait until I get some feedback from the Netgear community before I install it. I'm on version .64 right now and it's pretty stable for me. I haven't had any firmware update issues with this router yet, knock on wood.

You could start by reading the release notes for the new version.

Feed in your model number and look for new firmware and its release notes. I just updated mine to that one yesterday. and it's an improvement for sure - most of my previous issues are gone, but I also found a new bug with the Timezone and NTP not being saved, something that used to work before.

Updated yesterday via the browser and no issues - in fact I feel the network is working better and the devices are all recognized which was a problem with previous FW. Good luck.
