New IEEE 802.3bz can be implemented via firmware update in R7000?
With the arrival of this new implementation I would like to know if I will be able to take advantage of this speed on my router with only a firmware upgrade or have to buy a new router?
New router, it's different hardware, just like 10 gig is...
Also, you won't probably see any gear for some time with it. 2017 at best.
It will also come with a premium price, just not as bad as 10 gig.

how are you going to support it with a firmware upgrade when the hardware chips themself support a max of 1 Gbps each way per port? A firmware upgrade can't do magick when the hardware doesn't support it
