New Nighthawk that I need to set up VPN

I need the step to set up a VPN on my new Nighthawk R7000

I have tried to set up but I am obviously doing something wrong. 

I had to disconnect and go to work. I reconnected the Spectrum equipment.

I can set up the router fine I cannot find how to go forward and set up VPN. Apparently I need to make sure I equally change the range between 4-8. Meaning my house is surrounded and so many people that I lose my voice calls all day. Tech said I should go into the ip address. Sigh........ I had to go to work but if anyone can send me something. I will do after 1 pm today
