Do you have to use a phone to set this router up? I was going to set the router up using my desktop, but the only instructions with this router is to use a phone.
No, no phone app is required. NETGEAR likes to promote/advertise and push people to use it. To set the router first time, use a wired connection and go to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1
