New router to replace Nighthawk AC1900 Model R7000

I think I've decided on a competitors (model name is RT ax58u not to mention actual company)mainly due to price and availability here in Sweden. It's probably overkill anyway but when your not sure about the technical details like what a dual, Tri, or quad core processor at different speeds make to a modems performance, you tend to buy the most you can afford ,namely 1390 Swedish kronor.
Always find this forum friendly and helpful.

The R series routers are getting up in age. Mostly no longer available or might find something used.
RAX series is NG next generation of routers. AC and AX supporting.
Might look for something RAX## and look at the spec sheets to see what would be best fit.
I'd try something RAX30 and up to maybe a RAX50 if something is available in your region.
I'm using a RAX43 since about 2 years now and have had very little problems with it. I bought it for about 160 Euro's with a discount. As FURRYe38 say, I'd leave the R series aside and go for the RAX ones.
