New SIM card in net gear nighthawk will not connect

We purchased a new/better SIM card through AT&T (we were previously using T-Mobile) to get Wi-Fi through our net gear nighthawk when we put the new SIM card In it will not give us service. We have already talked with AT&T and everything is good with the SIM card. How do we get it to work?

    You  mobile phone or some bit of Nighthawk hardware? A "net gear nighthawk" could be many things.
