I too am having issues with remote management via the Nighthawk app. I just purchased my second NetGear extender that's supposed to cover 2200sq ft and noticed the update. I now wish I didn't apply it... I'm almost at the point where I'm going to factory reset everything and start over with all of my equipment.

 

I'd suggest holding until they sort this out.

    I had the same problem with the Nighthawk app after upgrading the R7900 router V1.4.1.66. To resolve, I used the http interface to roll back to V1.4.1.64. Hoping Netgear is aware and will release a fix.
