If its failing when connected directly to the modem, its seeming to indicate a line/modem issue?
Since the router isn't connected.

running doc sys 3.0
the internet lamp on modem is green (normal)
This is an intermittent issue. Naturally the ISP Wow says it's not modem issue.
up and downstream lights are blue - bonded connections
how frequently is it happening?
And when it does, the internet light goes amber?
It happens about every 25 min or so.
The light goes from white to amber. Then typically the internet connection is lost.
When failing I tried connecting a device directly to the Arris ethernet port to test and it also failed (would not connect).
Then I typically power down both devices to get it to eventually come back up but it does not always come back. And if it does the light is usually amber on the router.
