Nighthawk 3600
I am so untechny and when I get to the admin screen to log in, it says default is password. Ok, so I put in all passwords that might work including the word password. What am I doing wrong? I’m trying to set the Wi-Fi up.

Most Netgear routers come "out of the box" with web credentials of
- User Name: "admin" (which cannot be changed. Why they keep it is a mystery to everyone.)
- Password: "password" (all lower case letters).
If you do a Factory Reset on the router, using that tiny "reset" hold on the back of the case, web credentials should be reset to the default (and all customer configuration information will be erased).
