You're using the router as the dhcp and the pi-hole as dns?
Or are you trying to setup the pi-hole to run as DHCP and dns?
Usually what I do, is setup the pihole's ip address into the routers primary dns for both the ipv4 and ipv6 setup.
then you have to make sure in the pi-hole, you have the dns servers selected for what you want used after the blocking.
I did a quick screen snip/paste into word of my ipv4/6 settings and my pihole dns setting
Yes. Currently using router for DHCP and pi-hole for DNS. My understanding now is, that with Netgear's limitations, I will have to use the pi-hole for both.
I don't see your Word document with the snip/paste of your setup. (?) How do I get to it?

- It was actually a pdf. Had to redo it because the forum wouldn't take a word docx. You can setup pihole dns on this. I've done it on multiple routers from Netgear

Hope you're able to get it running. If not, let me know where its failing (screen snips help) because I've messed around with it a bit.
And pihole works great with some fine tuning of the lists.
