Nighthawk AC1750
I have tried downloading neatgear genie, onto windows, and does not work. I do not know what is going on. My wifi will not come up on my desktop computer. Just shows home, and connected. Been working...

Sadly, "does not work" could mean many things.

Again, what does that mean? You have a Windows PC and it can see the SSID of the wifi from the R6700?

The SSID, the wifi connection that your PC sees, is set on the router. You can give it whatever name you want.

Check the section in the manual Specify Basic WiFi Settings.
