revert to.4.30 or 4.28
Factory reset to defaults.....DO NOT use saved configuration
Delete or forget 2.4 previous connections in all devices

I have the exact problem. I am running firmware v1.0.6.28_1.1.83. NETGEAR moderator, please help me too.

1. Download an older firmware. I use V1.0.4.28 because it is very stable but you can use whatever Netgear firmware you want. Unzip the downloaded file. http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/#0
2. Reset to factory defsults using the button on the back pressed in for at least 10 seconds. (until the lights go out and come back on.)
3. Flash the firmware using a wired computer. That's Advansced > Administration > Router Update and browse for the update you downloaded.
4. Reset again.
5. Manually input your settings. Do not try to read a configuration file into it.
