Nighthawk AC1900 R7000 keeps rebooting
My two year old router/wifi reboots 4 or 5 times per day. Generally all the LEDs go out except power (turns orange) and wifi (blue). It usually takes several minutes to reboot. Running firmware V1....

Running firmware V1.0.11.106 as per NETGEARGenie.
NETGEARGenie? Genie could be one of several things, the browser interface, a Windows or Mac program for a PC, or a mobile Android/iThing app. Netgear labels them all as genies. Which are you using?
That firmware is nothing like the latest. It isn't even in the archive of firmware for the R7000P listed in your "footer". Is that really what you have?
Your subject says R7000. Different hardware. This is the latest firmware for the R7000:
R7000 Firmware Version 1.0.11.116 | Answer | NETGEAR Support
That explains how to install it manually. That would be the first thing to try.

Sorry for the typo, my model is R7000.
When I login to my router using a browser on my PC using "www.routerlogin.net" I see that my latest firmware is:
Firmware Version
V1.0.11.106_10.2.100
When I check for a later version using the "Check" button it says:
No new firmware version available.
I will use the link you sent
https://kb.netgear.com/000062810/R7000-Firmware-Version-1-0-11-116
to download 1-0-11-116. Thanks.

I've started having a similar issue too the last few days
V1.0.11.116_10.2.100

Thanks JANUS51,
It sounds like you are having the same problem as I am. So if you are already on V1.0.11.116_10.2.100, then that version of firmware won't be a solution. What do you think?

A new wrinkle related to my problem: My router just when down and came back up. Immediately I logged into the router and checked the logs and saw this ...
[DoS attack: FIN Scan] (1) attack packets in last 20 sec from ip [52.84.55.235], Sunday, Mar 07,2021 17:58:20
The timestamp coincides with the router bounce.
Maybe DoS attacks are causing the router to go down. Can you help me understand what this means and how I might protect against this?
