Nighthawk AC1900 WIFI Extender Model EX7000

I plugged in my Netgear Extender and cannot see NETGEAR_EXT network under my available networks to connect my router to the Netgear Extender  - any suggestions.

    do you know what firmware is on your extender? 

    Did you try to set it up using WPS? If so and its on a more recent firmware, it'll setup in mesh mode. Meaning it'll use the same ssid as the router. 

    What are the led's on it showing?
