Bought a router on ebay. The back says netgear12 but when i connect it the router shows up as netgear94 and the password listed for netgear12 doesn't work. What are my options?

Start on Page 111 where it describes the process for restoring factory default settings.
dodgebob, what you need to do to that router is to do a hard reset so it will be back to factory default. You need a paper clip, with that press the pinhole on back of the router for 30 seconds while its powered up. When you connect to it will ask you stuff to set it up. Let us know once you do this.
10 second press is max press time for the reset button.
