Nighthawk AC2300 R700p open vpn configuration

I am trying to configure Open VPN.  Have followed all instructions.  when I try to connect I get the following error messages;

OpenSSL: error:140AB18E:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate:ca md too weak
