I'll assume that your "my Sprint Rave booster" is one of the many
"Sprint Airave" devices (about which I know nothing):https://www.sprint.com/en/support/solutions/device/airave-support-center.html
Does the Sprint AIRAVE support 3G data?
Yes. The AIRAVE provides enhanced coverage for any 3G Sprint phone
or mobile broadband card at EVDO Rev. A data speeds of up to
3 Mbps downstream and 1.5 Mbps upstream. [...]If the top speed of the gizmo is 3Mb/s, then there would be little
point in giving it a 1000Mb/s Ethernet interface. So, it's probably
always slow (by gigabit Ethernet standards).

If you're worried about your cable, then connect its ends to any two
of the LAN Ethernet ports on your router, and look at the port-status
LED indicators. If they're white, then the cable is better than you
need.
Note: "m" = milli = 1/1000. "M" = "mega" = 1000000.

If only there were some kind of "document" which revealed mysteries
of this type. _That_ could be useful.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "LED
Descriptions".
It's a miracle!

Thank you for this information. Now my question is... Do I need a newer ethernet cord to get higher mbps? My ethernet light in always yellow. Not sure how old my ethernet cord is, but I would say pretty old.
