Nighthawk CM 1100

How do I setup a 2.4G guest network? I'm being told this is required to run my pool automation and that my current network is a 5G.

    Well the CM1100 is a modem only device. It doesn't have wireless. 

    So what actual router do you have?

      I guess that probably explains it. I need to figure out how with my router, not modem. The router is a Google GJ2CQ model.
