Nighthawk CM2000 can't login
II couldnt pick CM2000 above...anyway... have a Nighthawk CM2000 modem. I like to look at the modem stats now and then to see if there any errors. I can no longer get access to the modem....
For some reason it defaulted back to the factory password after a few months of using my OWN password.
What would cause that?

A settings reset? Your ISP could do that remotely. Or, some
settings storage got corrupted somehow (power spike?), the gizmo noticed
that, and figured that "default" was better than "corrupt". Or someone
stuck a pointed stick up its butt. Many things are possible.
If it recurs with some frequency, and the ISP denies everything, then
I'd worry about the hardware. Or, given Netgear, some firmware bug.
