Nighthawk LAX20 Remote Management
Model: Nighthawk LAX20
Firmware: V1.1.6.30_2.0.50
I cannot find the Remote Management option mentioned on page 109 of the LAX20 user manual in the web interface. According to a message in this post started by robatl it looks like Netgear has removed the option (or it never existed?).
What is a good way to enable access to the router web admin console remotely?
The Nighthawk app with Connect Anywhere enabled is not a solution since the app does not have anywhere close to the capability of the router's web admin console.
Thanks

They have moved things around. It now goes under the "Web Services" label.
On my router:
- Advanced
- Advanced Setup
- Web Services Management
It might be different on your LAX20, It isn't one of the Nighthawk WiFi Routers covered here.
A couple of places to try:
Nighthawk Routers with WiFi 6 (AX) - NETGEAR Communities
Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems
Those things are very different from the standard Netgear routers covered in this section.- adi99AspirantMichael, you may have missed the post I linked in my question, it looks like it was confirmed by Netgear that the option has been removed. So I wanted ask what other folks are doing as an alternate.

If this does not meet your needs:
you will have to find some other way to sneak up on your device from the outside world. There are complicated ways of getting in with the IP address of your router, but that may not apply to those LTE devices. It is still there in my R7800, as I explained previously.
As the LAX20 does not qualify as one of the Nighthawk WiFi Routers, the folks here may not have much to offer. They probably don't need an alternative. You need to talk to the LTE community.
