Nighthawk M2 - cannot apply Wifi Profile

My Nighthawk on both the modem and Dashboard show "Wifi is disabled" and "Detecting Service". From the Wifi Profiles page when I selct 2.4ghx / 5ghz profile and hit Apply , a message "Applying changes" appears and NEVER completes , no matter how long I leave it .

Any help really appreciated ....
