Nighthawk R6080 randomly shuts down
My wireless router is only 6 months old and suddenly it just shuts down randomly and then come back on its own. Firmware is current. I have used reset button and disconnected power numerous times. Do...

How do you know it shuts down?
Do the led's all go off and then power back on?
What firmware are you actually running?
What modem is it connected to?
have you tried reinstalling or downgrading the firmware? Sometimes the latest isn't the greatest.
Have you tried replacing the power supply? (i wouldn't buy one) If you had a matching or simlar (has to have same voltage and polarity but can have more amps) you could try that.

I know it shuts down because all the lights on the box are off. I unplug it and then reconnect and the l8ghts come back on. It then goes off again in an hour or so. Never the same amount of time. Nothing has changed with the connections to the power or my cable internet supplier. The firmware is current. 8 an using the Nighthawk app to stay current and there is no option to go to an older version. I have requested a replacement. It is less then one year old.

I have requested a replacement.----So if you've already gone through support and they're replacing it, why post on here?
