Nighthawk R6230 bricked after firmware upgrade

Exact same thing happened to me on exact same router trying to install the exact same firmware update. I'm working from home so it caused quite a problem. Back up and operating using an 8 year old router. Don't want to give up on this one because it is barely a year old.
I tried all the same things as you with zero success.
