Nighthawk R6400 - no Internet + password loop

Hello,    I have an Arris Surfboard SB8200 and a NIghthawk R6400v2.  The Surfboard has Internet and if I connect directly from a modem to my device, my device can access the Interent.  Howeve...

Yes. I can't remember what the fix was honestly. I think the router wasn't actually factory resetting, which I eventually got it to do.
