Te LEDs are either orange or gone completly for both 5 and 2.4 Ghz. We have one LAN line connected to it and that one remains orange and works fine.

Yes firmware sorry. It was upgraded yesterday so whatever the latest one is as of 1/26/21. I will have to get the number. We had to disconnect the router for now and switch to our old one in order to get wifi back in the house.
Yes we have a modem before the router. It is the Cisco Model DPC3208 and yes it does have LAN ports you can plug directly into it.

That doesn't seem right. According to the manual, Wifi LEDs are supposed be be white.
The LAN port also should be white for 1000 Mbps Ethernet. Orange is for 10-100 Mbps.

The problem there is that "the latest" that you get with the on-line update may not be the tatest if you visit the support pages. Firmware can appear there before it gets onto the update server.

The device I found for that has only one Ethernet port on the back. The other ports are for telephones. In that case it would be a simple modem and not a modem/router.
- SDH71Jan 28, 2021AspirantMine has done the exact same thing. I’ve unplugged and rebooted multiple times today. I decided to use my other router a Belkin for now and I am having no problems. I’m pretty sure it’s the firmware after reading multiple problems about this dated today
