What is the brand name and model number of your new modem from Spectrum?
Rebooting your devices is not often sufficient to establish a connection with new devices such as your new modem.
Power down, pull the power cord, to your new modem. Power down, pull the power cord, to your R6700. Disconnect the Ethernet cord between your modem and router.
Power up the modem and be sure and give it ample time to boot and establish a connection to your ISP. One of the last LEDs on the modem should indicate an internet connection.
Reconnect the Ethernet cable between the output port on the modem to the input port on your R6700. Power up your router and give it ample time to boot and stabilize. One of the last LEDs to illuminate should indicate an internet connection.

If things still don't work after the detailed explanation from Kitsap you may also have to reset the R6700 to its factory defaults so that it forgets the time it spent with your old Internet service.
