So I flashed to the most recent firmware that was pushed to my router and on the website, and the problems actually came back. I can't believe I was suckered into updating my firmware. I have tried to reset my router and now everytime I turn on my desktop the router poops out and I have to power cycle BOTH my modem and router for the internet to come back up.
I can't believe this problem wasn't fixed and that it actually caused my router to drop connection all the time. I honestly can't recommend this router to anyone or Netgear at this point.
So disappointed....

I am experiencing the same type of connectivity issues described herein and I would like assistance. My router drops connectivity intermittently and I am unable to connect even via a hard wired desktop. I am running Firmware Version V1.2.0.16_1.0.1. Power cycling the router fixes the issue, but the issue reproduces itself.
My Case Number is 30012881

Do you have any Amcrest IP cameras (or similar devices) on your home network? If so, disconnect them for a while and see if your router stays online. If that's your problem... you can configure the cameras to use your ISP DNS addresses instead of the netgear router IP and that should fix it.
