What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Try a factory reset and walk thru the setup wizard. Be sure to NOT enabled Armor, Access Controls, Circle, QOS or Traffic Meter.

Thanks for responding!
Modem is my own, Arris Surfboard SB-8200. I'm 99% sure the cord is not the problem as I only use Cat 5e or better, but I'll swap in the cord I got 220 Mbps on my laptop just in case. Otherwise factory reset will be the next step.

Just wanted to follow up - the factory reset fixed the problem. Kind of a pain to have to do that, but I guess if it works...
Too bad it doesn't just automatically fix itself after a normal reboot. Oh well, just wanted to post my results, my speeds are now matching when bypassing the router and when using a LAN port. Thanks all.
