[Nighthawk R6700v3] Slower bandwidth than when directly connected on the "bridge" router
Hello, I have a router as bridge and then my Nighthawk router. When I directly plug my computer on the first router (and remove the bridge configuration), I get the 400 mbit/s as advertised by my...

2 things to try.
1. I've seen to many devices not run properly in bridge mode. Leave the ISP's device in router mode and disable its wifi. Then either just run the netgear as is (it'll be in a double nat) or put it in access point mode (fixes the double nat). Then try it.
2. there's been a few reports of slow downs on that firmware. You can try downgrading the firmware a version or 2 (factory reset after changing firmwares)

Hey, what a mess.
I guess I won't upgrade the firmware again when I have something that works.
I have now done the setup you suggested and it works.
I had to factory reset both routers, I am now directly connected via cable to my ISP router and I have 400 mbit/s.
I had to configure the nighthawk router with the iOS nighthawk app and I have less option than directly on the web interface via routerlogin. I remember that I had to enable an option to have a faster wifi but I don't have that option on the iOS app so I only have 200 mbit/s via 5g wifi. I'll try to find a way to access the web app once again.
I am not sure how my nighthawk router is now configured since everything was done via the app, is it access point automatically?
Thanks again for your help.

Okay, so I plugged my computer directly on the nighthawk and I could access the routerlogin.net interface. Without doing that, I could not access it, the only web page I could get is the one to recover the password (tried wifi).
Anyway, I changed the setup of the nighthawk to be an access point.
Thanks.
