Nighthawk R7000 AC1900 - configuration setup as a wireless repeater

Question

HiI have a Nighthawk R7000 ac1900 router that was replaced by a new Nighthawk AX12 Ax11000 lRAX200 router.I want to setup my old R7000 as either a wireless bridge, AP, repeater/extender.I want or would hope I can extend the Guest Network on my new AX12.Currently my AX12 is running Netgear81 (2.4ghz)Netgear81-5g1 Netgear81-5g2 and a Guest Network off the Netgear81 (2.4ghz) channel.Does anyone have a video that will walk me thru setting up the old R7000 as a wireless repeater (on the 2.4ghz Guest Network channel) or a PDF document?My question a bit long winded but the short version is setting up old R7000 as a wireless repeater on the guest Network of the new router.ThanksBob

there's already been one written. simply follow the guide and have it connect to the 2.4ghz guest network.&nbsp;

Manuals are always a good place to start. Did you find that?Visit the support pages:Support | NETGEARFeed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.Check the section in the manual&nbsp;Set Up the Router in Bridge Mode.You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message. I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
