firmware- v1.0.11.126, cat 5 cables........original with nighthawk unit, spectrum modem- mfg is arris # tm1602
no factory reset done. yes, unplugged modemrouter ,plugged back in,proper sequence/time.............same thing.
speed is fast w/o nighthawk in the loop. back in,back to slow....................thx,m

I would upgrade to CAT6 between modem and router.
Factory reset and setup from scratch with out enabling Armor, Circle or Traffic Meter.
Also might try upgrading FW as well:

factory reset did it.................................cant find a good download for genie-pc....................flips over to nighthawk app.

admin is there,next is password..........i tried default,nope..........and the 2 passwords i had since bought unit.........nope
dont think im gonna reset again................not worth the time/frustration..................thx

I believe Genie is being depreciated and not supported anymore. It's the Nighthawk app for mobile devices that can connect to the router and use a PC or laptop and web browser to connect to the routers web page. If you factory reset the router and setup from scratch using a PC and web browser. After the router is setup, then you should be able to connect to the router using the Nighthawk app.
