Nighthawk R7000 access to readyshare usb storage drive from linux Mint 21.1?
How do I access the readyshare usb storage drive from a linux Mint 21.1 computer? I can do so from windows 10 just fine.
But from linux Mint I keep getting permission denied when I try to read or write or create anything. I went through places
off the main menu and then "Connect to ..." to reach the readyshare storage drive (S_Drive on mine). Is that how I should
connect, maybe I did something wrong?

You may have to ask people who understand linux.
The router is doing its thing and you have got Windows to play nicely, so it doesn't seem to be down to the router.
If you haven't done so already, you could also try this
Search - NETGEAR Communities – readyshare linux
You aren't the first person to seek help on that.

I figured out how to make it work.
Seems that if a write fails, the router blocks all future tries until the USB device gets reset.
I also had to login as an authenticated user using the admin password to make writes work
from the linux Mint computer. I'm not sure if that was documented anywhere?

My R7000P has a habit of "losing" an attached USB drive.
