Nighthawk R7000 and internet speed
Ritter communication package 100mb but router will only download at 45mbs.
When I connect directly to the Ritter modem/router I get 97mbs.
I've rebooted my R7000 many times and still it will not...

Are you connecting wired or wireless?
Is the modem/router bridged?
Is QoS or Traffic Meter enabled on the R7000?

Hello
Modem is hard wired to router.
Modem/router bridge? No,
I haven't changed many settings except passwords change.
Turned off metering.
And thank you, disabling the QoS did the trick.
I guess I just over looked that one little setting.
Thanks again. Getting around 87mb now. Would love the 90s but this is Ritter communication and they kinda so.
128 bucks a month for internet and a phone. Who uses phone lines!! But have to get it in a package or pay almost twice as much for the 100mb.
Thanks again

That's an old favourite. Glad it worked.
Not really something that you "overlooked", unless you knew about it.
Sounds like it may have been enabled by default, which is odd. Netgear should not ship stuff like that.
