The R7000 isn't known for the best firmware.
It also reponds favorably to factory resets after changing firmware.
That's where I'd start.
Factory reset it and reinstall it manually (not from backup). See how it works.
If it still has issues, then I'd install version 1.0.9.42 of the firmware. its the agreed upon stable/most reliable version of the firmware.
Install it over an ethernet connection, reset, and reinstall again.
