Nighthawk R7000 not allowing Samsung Smart TV to access internet.
My Nighthawk R7000 will allow our new Samsung smart TV access to the home network via wired and wireless connection however will not allow access to the internet. It allows all other traffic onto the...

Look at these two bits of information:

I have the same issue with Samsung products not working properly with Nighthawk. My wife's phone (s10) connects to wifi after router restart and then loses the internet connection while still connected to wifi, the same with other samsung phone model. Just 2 days ago we got new Samsung TV and ... the same - it hardly connects and when it's done it lasts for couple of hours and then loses internet connection.
Then this.
Dozens of other devices works in my network without any issues so this must be something between Netgear and Samsung
You assume that Netgear is the problem. Another possibility is that Samsung is the cause of the issues.
If you look back, it seems that Griffgt has doubts about Samsung.
We are also a Samsung home. Everything works as expected with my Netgear routers (R7000P and R7800).
But Samsung's "smart" devices, like BluRay players, are famously so useless that I try hard to wire everything that doesn't move.
Sasmsung helpdesk claims that if the device connects to other networks without issues then this points to router conf. or ISP.
This is what is known in the indstry as "passing the buck".
We know nothing about how you connect your Samsung devices to the Internet, what quality of Internet you have, and many other factors.
I can just say that from problems that have cropped up here, Samsung is more likely to be the weak link in the chain. That is why I invested in Powerline Ethernet to connect Samsung BluRay players. Not just easier to set up in comparison with Samsung's dreadful set up process, but more reliable than wifi.

I'm having the same issue as the original comment (same router model). My Samsung smart TV connects to the Nighthawk router, but no internet. This TV worked find the last several years with the Nighthawk router, but all of a sudden nolonger connects to the internet. Other devices work fine. I.e. Roku on my none-smart Vizo TV, my Samsung S20, iPhone etc.
I reset TV, went through the wifi set up twice, still doesn't work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you do decide to start afresh, details would be helpful. For example, what is this unknown smart TV?
...all of a sudden nolonger connects to the internet.
So the problem is with the TV?
