[My solution] Hi everyone who has the problem with router connection with no internet. I had the same problem - my TV and cellphne connect just fine to the router, but were showing no internet connection. I just recently purchased Netgear product and it almost drove me insane with working/not working with my Samsung cell phone and then not workign with my Samsung TV. Same story - Samsung TV worked fine with two other routers and not with Netgear. Cellphone could not get Internet through main networks, but worked fine with the guest networks. Eventually I narrowed it down - Netgear somehow decides to block access of some devices to internet. Please connect from your laptop or workstation to the roter and check connected devices list. You have to manually "allow" access of those devies to the Internet. The cellphone app the comes with the router is just not good enough to notice this and fix.

Never seen reports like that before. It would be good to have some details so that people can be on the lookout.
Which devices were blocked?
Where did you change the settings?
The cellphone app the comes with the router is just not good enough to notice this and fix.You are not wrong there, which is why experienced users try to avoid these toys. They are designed to make life "easy" for inexperienced users. Anything slightly off piste can cause problems.
