Make a backup copy of your current settings (.cfg file) under Advanced > Backup Settings and then do a hard reset of your router. Once it's been reset and you're connected via ethernet, it should cue the FW upgrade option when you're doing the initial setup again.
Then just upload that config file and your previous settings will be back.

Yes, I'm saying that if you really want to upgrade your FW now, try what I just recommended.
I didn't even know there was a new FW available today, but this morning I just so happened to do a hard reset of my modem and R7000 (by purshing reset pin on the back). And once everything was back on and I connected to the router via ethernet, Genie alterted me there was a new FW and so I did the update. So following those same steps will likely cue the FW update for you too should you like to act now.

Thanks, will try. I tried to switch language to English from Russian, also reflash it to 1.0.7.12. In both cases i didn't found availability of new firmware.
