Nighthawk r7000 wireless will not turn on light are off even after rest
I replaced my r7000 with an orbi 6 months ago. I wanted to connect my r7000 in my son's apartment. I can not get the wireless to turn on even after resting muliple time . Any suggestions.

Thanks for the response. We did do a factory reset . Didn't help .
set up was modem (hitron model e31n2v1 )
set up
Modem to wired router to PC wired
The message was clear no internet // wireless is disable inside of settings on the pc.
I couldnt not enable wifi off the settings tab.
Using the set up www.routerlogin.com we got into the site but we couldn't get internet and wirless was disabled.
Specturm attached there router and it worked fine,

Simple modem. No router to get in the way. As long as it isn't one of those that has some built-in router mode. (Some do.)

The messages may be clear to you, but I can't see what you see.
Where do you see this message?
Same with wifi. What settings in the PC are you looking at that says "wireless is disabled".
If this is a Windows PC, there will be something that tells you that.
When I asked
"What do the LEDs on the router look like?"
The response we got was:
"The only light that came on was the power light and the port light we had the ethernet cable plug[g]ed into it."
Even if there is no Internet connection, the Internet light should come on as long as you have something plugged into the WAN/Internet port. (It will be amber until it connects to the Internet when it turns white.)
Likewise the wifi LEDs will be on as long as you haven't pressed the WiFi On/Off button.
