I have a Cisco ASA in front of the Nighthawk and has dhcp enable with 20 ip addresses available.

You may have to explain how that fits into the network.
Netgear's routers are designed to sit behind a modem of some sort or, in AP mode, behind a router.

It might also make sense to ask Cisco how you are supposed to attach things to its hardware.
