Nighthawk R7000P is on and off internet over 5G
Hello, 2.4 is working fine all the time, but for the 5 G, I can find that the laptop keeps disconnecting and connecting sometimes this happens more than 2 times per hour for no reason. But sometime...

I have two Apple phones 14, one iPad, two Samsung note9 phones, 2 Dell laptops, one TCL TV, and 4 Wi-Fi Camera
We have been using 2.4 for a long time and it was working fine I am working from home and I am only browsing, so, I didn't need to have a high speed, I made a speed test on 2.4 G and I got 30MPS, but on 5G I get 230 MPS.
then I decided to enable the 5G.
I disabled the 5G 4 years ago since I faced the same issue when I was using Samsung, for now, I enabled the 5G and I added my TV and the 3 laptops and 1 iPhone.
This issue is appearing on my Dell Laptop, but this does not mean that the issue is not on my phone, since it may happen and disappear from time to time.
Since I am working 10 hours per day on my laptop I can detect the issue.

Go to the Dell support web site and make sure the firmware for the Wi-Fi adapter in your laptop is up to date.
There are a number of background Wi-Fi signals present from other devices. They are relatively weak and should not be a major problem.

This is interesting...this exact thing has been happening to me for the last 2 to 3 weeks every few days. I have just been rebooting the router and it fixes itself for a few days. I thought it would fix itself but it isn't so I googled the issue and found this from exactly the same time I started experiencing it.
An example, I have macbook, ps5. smart TV and phone 1 room over from the router
Macbook - Fine, extremely fast and good connection
PS5 - Refuses to connect
Phone - Connects then disconnects immediately
TV - Fine, extremely fast and good connection
Never experienced the issue in the 2+ years I have been in the house and nothing has changed
2.4 band is fine, just the 5 band

I didn't figure out a solution for this issue, I got a new router and left the old one.
I am an engineer and feel this device has a hardware issue.

Ok, thanks for the update. I was flirting with the idea of upgrading to a mesh system anyway so this might be the push I need.
