Nighthawk R7000P questions

I also don't know how fast your fiber service would be. The R7000P is
not a very recent model. You might search these forums for any model

I'd explore more broadly. If your ISP recommends any Netgear Rxxxx
model, then practically any router (but not a cable modem+router) should
be compatible. Maker, performance, features, and cost are variables
which you'll need to juggle. Presumably, a search of this new Inter-Web
thing could find reviews of various routers. Or someone else might
suggest something(s) here.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't guess who that ISP is, or what's
on that list. Is the R7000P on it? What is?

That depends on what sort of equipment your ISP is providing. This
might seem radical, but did you try asking your (unspecified) ISP what's
required?
