Nighthawk r7200

When connecting tv media box nighthawk will not connect the internet. I get a red light, but when I plug play station in I get a blue light and it works fine

I’m trying to connect a t95 super box. The box works as I can directly wire hookup from my modem but can not direct wire hookup off the nighthawk

Not something I have seen mentioned here before.

 

What do the people who made this thing tell you to do to get it to work with a router?

 


The box works as I can directly wire hookup from my modem ....

And that modem is? Make and model? Is it, by any chance, also a router with wifi and Ethernet?
