Before rolling back, I'd try a factory reset. Sometimes old settings can cause issues.
If the factory reset doesn't work, then try rolling back the firmware.
I recommend doing it hardwired into the router via ethernet and then just following the manual update process (but use the older firmware).

Thanks for the reply. If I go the Factory Reset route first, can I use a recent CFG to get back to square one, or are you saying that something in the CFG itself could be the problem? So I have to go scorcher earth?
Just seems odd that for the last 5 or so years, this thing as been pretty solid in this regard on the ethernet side, and after this last firmware update, this suddenly pops up.
Oh also, what is going on with the QOS database. Last update is from 2017?
Version: v4.1023.gb2747cb Release Date: October 23, 2017 Doesn't even offer the option to check for an update. Just an Automatic setting, and obviously that's not working.
Thanks.

You can try using a backup but if you still have the issue, then do it without a backup. sometimes the backups can carry over settings not used or bad.
