Nighthawk r7800 problem with Chromecast with google TV connecting to interent

I updated firmware yesterday to V1.0.2.92
I had the problem before and after updating firmware.
I would not know what firmware to go back to fix the problem so please advise if I need too.
Oh and yes have factory re-set Chromecast several times now to no avail.
And this is the only device causing issues?
Got a different chromecast you can try? Makes me suspicious that the chromecast is defective and causing the issue
