do you get the same if you use another speed test site? If you do, then I'm out of ideas.
if you modem is a Gateway (modem+router) you need to set it in Bridge mode and use the R7800 as router

you need to push in the hole at the back until the power LED starts to flash
Alternatively, you can use the WebGUI 192.168.1.1 and go to Advanced -> Administration -> Backup Settings. There's an option to revert to default values with an "Erase" button

okay did it by the erase and still no luck getting 92.91 down and 4.83 up :(

how are you testing? wired or wireless? If wireless you may need to "forget" the SSID and connect again to it
- tsanders92Mar 08, 2019Tutor
testing it via wired and use speedtest.net

Should i just be running it in router mode, AP or bridge mode??

im i doing right by my HFC cable goes into the arris modem then WAN out of there to the optus box then port 1 out of there to my R7800
or can i get away without the optus box in the middle??
- microchip8Mar 08, 2019Master
I don't know, try it. I suspect your Gateway in Bridge mode connected directly to the R7800 WAN port will work

okay thanks ya its running atm maybe one day ill try removing and try running straight off the Arris NBN modem
