Nighthawk R8000 After device changes have to reboot to get into back router Why?

Certain features and section of the router have to be rebooted to have the FW internally make the change, thus the system reboots, ensures the changes are made and populate thru the routers FW and to effected connected clients thus no access till its' back to ready. Normal how NG routers work. Been like this since the beginning.
