Nighthawk R8000 to Virgin Media Super Hub 2 Connection problem.

My R8000 will not connect to the virgin media super hub at 1.0 Gbps. I have a 150 meg line and through the R8000 I only get 96 Mbps. My local area network is set to the following: Speed = 1.0 Gbps....

You may have a negotiation issue between the R8000 and the Super Hub. First try replacing the cable between hub and R8000 with at least a CAT5e cable. (Cat6 better)\ and retest..

The cable is a cat 6 and I have tested it with a network cable tester. The same cable is used to connect the VM modem to the R8000 and the PC.

    if you have a dumb 1 gig switch, use it to plug the router and VM hub into it. Ther's an obvious negotiation between both devices..
