Nighthawk R8000 X10 - 2.4ghz radios not working

After the reset for 10 seconds and wait say 1 minute, pull the power adapter for 30 seconds then plug back in. Walk thru the setup wizard and complete it with out loading any saved back up from file.
Does the 2.4Ghz LED appear as WHITE or AMBER on the stop of the router after the reset and power ON comes to ready?
Have you tired more recent FW? v.84 is available.
FURRYe38 - thx for the reply. I did do a full reset and rebuilt the config from scratch - with the same results. I then tried loading my old config after I tested from a full reset. I did not pull the power for 30 seconds - but suppose I can try that too.
In all cases, the WiFi radio indicator lights are white on the unit.
Initially I was unable to make any 2.5 ghz radio changes, and would get an error message:
WPS process is in progress, please apply the changes later.
However, after pushing the WPS button, rebooting, and resetting from button to PIN code - the WPS stopped chucking that error, and subsequently I've been able to change 2.4 ghz radio settings ... however, the radio status still shows error in the web UI - but no error on the unit.
I also verified that the Radio enable/disable button next to the WPS button is set to enable radio (I had a cat step on it once in the past - and that cost me hours trying to figure out WTH ... ).
According to Netgear the v1.0.5.42 version Firmware is the latest stable/shipping version for the R9000 (X10 AD7200 ... why can't they just stick with one single product model/naming scheme ... jeeesssssssshhhhh .... ).
I'll try a full reset and rebuild of the config - coupled with a 60 second unplugged from mains. Thanks.
FURRYe38 - I tried a reset along with unplug / wait / plug back in, reconfigure from scratch. Same exact results. The lights for WiFi radios show white, but the Web UI shows the red X, and the ESSIDs are not visible. I also tried manually entering the new ESSIDs (eg as if they were "hidden") to no luck; and I also used Wireshark to verify on myUSB wifi radio that I don't see any of the new ESSIDs in the air.
Any other thoughts?
As I said before, I heavily suspect the radio took a dump over night. We didn't have any power events (we have very unstable power, so all of my devices are on APC battery units).
I doubt it - but wondering if the radios are serviceable (eg replaceable) - I haven't cracked the case on this thing yet, but suspect it's probably integrated in to the main board ...
Have you tried to toggle the external Wi-Fi on/off button? Press and hold for several seconds then release. This button (switch) overrides any user interface configuration and does not reset with a power down and reboot.
