Nighthawk R8000P very strange activity since Friday. It renamed our cell phones etc.
On Friday 11/20/2020 Saw a new network on the Nighthawk app. DEV-41:03:1E IP address 192.168.12 MAC address 92:B4;4C;41;03;1E. Still don’t know what that was. It was on the 5GHz-2 channel. It is...

I don't see any question in there. Are you just reporting back?

Thanks for your response. All of the post is part of the question. I don't know why I started having issues last Friday. I had not made any changes. The information is the post describes the issues I am having. I don't know what to do to corrrect the issues and wonder if my router was hacked. Currently, the Nighthawk app will not list all the devices that are attached to the router and our cell phones have names that we didn't give them and are described as a Network not a Smart Phone. The TV that is listed is described as a Smart Phone and is the only TV that is listed (there should be 5).

Do you have your router set to do automatic firmware updates? Maybe it sneaked one in overnight.

I updated my firmware to version 1.4.1.64_1.3.25 on 10/18/2020 an am currently still on that version. I checked for available updates and the response is "No firmwareavailable at this time". I don't know how to set it up to apply the updates automatically so it has the default settings.
